Print the Star Stencils pattern on white printer paper. Choose which of the star stencils you want to use on your t-shirt. Prepare the selected stencil(s) and apply stars to the shirts following the instructions in the Stenciled T-Shirts craft project.
This 4th of July craft is a fun and easy way to show your patriotic spirit. With just a few supplies, you can create a custom t-shirt that is perfect for celebrating Independence Day, Memorial Day or any time you are in a patriotic spirit. This project is perfect for kids of all ages, and it's a great way to get creative.
The Star Stencils pattern includes three star stencils in various arrangements. Design your t-shirts to use one or more of the stencils—you can use the same stencil multiple times on a t-shirt. For the 4th of July, print stars in red and blue on a white t-shirt following instructions in the Stenciled T-Shirts craft project. If you want to print stars on a dark color t-shirt, either print white stars or print a white rectangle first as the background for your stars.
Tip: Computer paper stencils will work fine for printing a few stars. For a more durable stencil, you can wax the paper stencil following instructions in Waxing Paper.
Patterns are Adobe PDF files. The Adobe Reader is available for free.
All of Aunt Annie's project patterns are designed to be printed on standard letter-size paper (8.5"x11" or A4). When printing from Adobe Reader, you may need to select Auto-Rotate and Center or Choose paper source by PDF page size to ensure the best fit.

Tip: Stencil stars in one or two sizes to make a T-shirt for the 4th of July. The large star with a white center was made by applying one of the smaller star cutouts in the center of the larger star stencil.
