Download and print the cutting pattern. Select the heart snowflake you want to make and choose a size. Cutout your selected cutting pattern.
All paper snowflakes start with a square sheet of paper. The heart snowflake cutting patterns are sized for large 8" (20 cm) squares; medium 6" (15 cm) squares, and small 3½" (9 cm) squares. If you don't need printed fold lines, just cut a square the right size to use with the cutting pattern of your choice.
If you need printed fold lines, print the folding pattern, of your desired size, on red paper.
Fold the square following the instructions in Symmetry in Snowflakes. Trace the cutting pattern onto the folded paper, then cut out your snowflake.
These printable patterns for cutting and folding heart snowflakes are from the Symmetry in Snowflakes craft project. See this craft project for detailed instructions in how to make heart snowflakes. Red tissue paper is a good choice for heart snowflakes!
Patterns are Adobe PDF files. The Adobe Reader is available for free.
All of Aunt Annie's project patterns are designed to be printed on standard letter-size paper (8.5"x11" or A4). When printing from Adobe Reader, you may need to select Auto-Rotate and Center or Choose paper source by PDF page size to ensure the best fit.
That's it! How will you use your
heart snowflakes?
