Cut, fold, and glue to make five-sided gift boxes with integral top and bottom lids that close with fold-in flaps. These printable box patterns feature graduated pentagon cutouts for layered decoration on the lids or inside the boxes. The three smaller boxes stack for display and nest for compact storage, while the tall five-sided box is perfect for taller items.
All patterns print on Letter/A4 cardstock. Print on white or colored cardstock, or on the reverse side of decorative cardstock for custom gift packaging.

Each pattern is a PDF file that prints on standard Letter/A4 paper.
Print the five-sided box pattern onto white or colored cardstock.
Tip: Print the pattern on the reverse side of decorative cardstock for custom gift boxes, or print the pattern on plain cardstock and adhere decorative paper to the back before assembling.
Cut out the box pattern on the solid black outline.
Tip: Save the pentagon cutouts to use as templates for layered cardstock or patterned paper decorations.
Score all fold lines using a ruler and a bone folder or an empty ballpoint pen.
Fold the lids and lid flaps on the fold lines. Flatten the box out again.
Fold the glue tab and each side on the fold lines, then flatten the pattern again.
Apply glue along the entire length of the glue tab. Shape the sides into a pentagonal shape and glue the tab to the inside of the last side.
Fold the bottom flaps inward and close the bottom lid. Repeat for the top lid.
Tip: Use the saved pentagon cutouts as templates to cut layers of contrasting cardstock or patterned paper for decorating the lid. You can also wrap the sides with ribbon or decorative paper, or line the inside of the box for a finished look.
