Create a twelve-sided desktop calendar for 2026! This printable dodecahedron calendar comes in two construction styles: a new easy-to-assemble net-style template (recommended for beginners) and the classic circle-based design from the Platonic Solids project. Choose your preferred method and build a functional geometric calendar for your desk, classroom, or craft display.
Each pattern is a PDF file that prints on standard Letter/A4 paper.
Assembly notes: The instructions below are for the net-style pattern. For full construction instructions for the classic circle version, see the Platonic Solids craft project.
Print directly onto white or colored cardstock.
Cut out the template along the solid outline.
Score the dotted lines before folding to create clean pentagon edges.
Fold and glue the tabs marked in orange to join the pentagonal faces and form the dodecahedron. Use the assembled illustration to check the position of each face as you work.
Assembly tip: Begin by forming the ring of five pentagons around the center. Add the next ring of five, then fold down and glue the final pentagon at the top to close the shape.
