Download this free printable dodecahedron template (PDF) to fold and assemble a twelve-faced geometric solid. The radial one-piece layout makes assembly straightforward—ideal for learning geometry, creating a 3D calendar, or making decorative accents.
Each pattern is a PDF file that prints on standard Letter/A4 paper.
Print directly onto white cardstock, or print on regular paper and transfer/trace it onto sturdier card.
Cut out the template along the solid outline.
Score the dotted lines before folding to create clean pentagon edges.
Fold and glue the tabs marked in orange to assemble the dodecahedron. Because of the radial layout, the faces naturally wrap around the center. Refer to the assembled illustration to help orient the faces.
Assembly tip: Start by forming a ring of five pentagons around the center pentagon. Then add the next ring of pentagons, gluing each one to both its neighbor and the ring below. Finish by folding the final top pentagon over and gluing it to the remaining tabs.
