Download this free printable icosahedron template (PDF) to fold and assemble a 20-faced geometric solid. Use it for learning geometry, crafting creative gift boxes, or adding a decorative accent to your space.
Each pattern is a PDF file that prints on standard Letter/A4 paper.
Print directly onto white cardstock or print on paper and transfer/trace the pattern to sturdier paper.
Cut out the template along the solid outline.
Score along the dotted lines before folding to create crisp, accurate edges.
Fold and glue the tabs marked in orange to connect the triangular faces and form the icosahedron. Refer to the illustration of the assembled icosahedron to guide face alignment.
Assemble in sections: Start by gluing the central ten alternating triangles into a ring using the tab at the end. Then glue the five triangles on each side of the ring to build the top and bottom.
