Start with decorative paper, or one of Aunt Annie's digital paper downloads, to match the theme of your party and a coordinating piece of solid color cardstock, computer, art or construction paper.
Tip: For an even simpler napkin ring, use one of these printable sheets of paper ribbons or Thanksgiving and fall napkin rings.
Patterns are Adobe PDF files. The Adobe Reader is available for free.
All of Aunt Annie's project patterns are designed to be printed on standard letter-size paper (8.5"x11" or A4). When printing from Adobe Reader, you may need to select Auto-Rotate and Center or Choose paper source by PDF page size to ensure the best fit.
For each napkin ring, cut a ¾" by 6" paper strip from decorative paper and a 1¼" by 6" strip of the coordinating solid color cardstock or paper.
If you are using one of the paper ribbons, simply cut a 6" strip, border-to-border, and cut a strip of coordinating solid color cardstock or paper that is ½" wider than the decorative strip and 6" long.
Tip: You can omit the solid color backing for a super quick napkin ring, but it will be less sturdy.
Glue the decorative strip down the center of the solid color strip. Next, form the strip into a ring. Glue the ends of the ring together where they overlap.
That's it! Your napkin rings are
complete!
