Rectangular Box (Dec 5, 2022) - Make a rectangular box with lid, also called a shirt box, in a variety of sizes and depths. This is a very versatile box that can be used to package about any gift. It can also be made without the lid and used as a letter box, napkin holder, etc. Instructions are also given for drafting a box pattern/template for any size rectangular box.

Mittens from Sweatpants (Nov 14, 2022) - In this project, use old sweatpants to make mittens for kids. This is a great way to recycle the fabric from all those holey and stained sweatpants (and sweatshirts) that no one can wear anymore. This is a good project for new sewers. As an added bonus, the project includes instructions for making a scarf from sweatpants.

Tenor and Diva Paper Bag Puppets (Oct 31, 2022) - Super easy hand puppets can be made with a paper bag, a few cutouts, and a bit of drawing. In this project, make puppets of opera singers, tenor and diva, that open and close their mouths as you move the paper bag flap with your hand.

Foam Ball Hand Puppets (Aug 15, 2022) - Create quick and easy clown hand puppets based on Styrofoam® balls used as the puppet head. You can use felt cutouts and/or pom-poms and wiggly eyes to add a funny face to your clown puppet. Once you have made the clown puppet, try your hand at making other puppet characters by changing the felt cutouts and the fabric drape!
